I stepped on the scale this morning and had an astounding revelation. Apparently you can't exercise 3 times during the week (even if one of those times takes all day), eat what you ate when you were exercising 6 times during the week, and not gain weight. It doesn't matter if your lungs feel like they've been worked over with a fine sandpaper, nor does it matter if your sit bones are bruised or your back is sore. It seems the old equation of the remainder of calories in, less calories burned equals a fat body. I'd like some new math but it's not happening.
So I either have to quit eating the wrong foods in the wrong quantities or start doing the workouts I'm scheduled to do. Knitting doesn't burn enough calories. Darn.
